Dr. Carlos Mendez

Dr. Carlos Mendez is a board-certified pain management specialist who understands that chronic pain affects every aspect of a patient’s life, from work to sleep to family relationships. After graduating from Universidad Central del Caribe and training at both Jacobi and Montefiore, he developed a multimodal approach to pain treatment that prioritizes function and quality of life over reliance on any single therapy. Fluent in English and Spanish, Dr. Mendez works closely with his patients to find the right combination of interventional procedures, physical rehabilitation, and medication management tailored to each individual’s needs. He is committed to serving the Bronx community and believes that effective pain care should never be a privilege reserved for those with means.
